Maxillary sinus puncture (with or without drainage)

The purpose of the intervention is to aspirate the secretions of the sinus,
to take a sample to look for a germ and
choose an effective antibiotic, or even control the
sinus cavity by the introduction of an optic. It is
sometimes useful to leave a drain in place for a few
days to ensure washing and possibly
the introduction of drugs inside the sinus.
