About flutamidenon steroidal antiandrogen, antineoplastic agent,in female hirsutism.mechanism of action of flutamidedrug has a structural similarity to the male hormone testosterone. thus it binds to the receptors of testosterone present on the prostate cancer cells. this prevents the attachment and action of testosterone on the cancer cells. due to the absence of testosterone, cancer cells cannot grow and death of it occursindications for flutamideprostate cancer (metastatic)
