Treatment of small varicose veins and spider veins by sclerotherapy

This technique aims to reduce or eliminate the small unsightly vessels of the legs: called reticular varicose veins (varicose veins <3 mm in diameter) and bluish and red varicosities. It consists of the injection of sclerosing products into the vessel. The goal is to bring (via a needle) into contact with the wall of the micro-vein a sclerosing active principle, most often liquid. This product will irritate the wall of the vein creating a specific reaction of fibrosis (or sclerosis) consisting in gradually obstructing the micro-vein.
