Drainage of peritoneal or retro-pharyngeal phlegmon

It is an abscess in the tonsillar region responsible for fever, pain when swallowing and discomfort when opening the mouth. Failure of medical treatment requires surgical drainage.
The goal of the operation is to evacuate the purulent collection or abscess, allowing immediate pain relief, treating the infectious focus, and being able to resume eating by mouth.
