The phases of harvesting and preparation of the grafts are identical to those of FUE. The removed follicular unit is then gently introduced and in a well-defined direction inside the Choi implanter by the operator's assistants. The latter implants the grafts one by one using Choi's pen, adopting a very precise inclination. The novelty is that there is no prior incision, the fine needle of the pen allowing the introduction of the hair implant.
