Treatment of nasal synechiae
Synechiae are frequent complications after endonasal surgery. Sometimes asymptomatic, they become troublesome on the respiratory level when they are located between the septum and the inferior turbinates. The treatment of these synechiae requires resection often facilitated under endoscopic control using a monopolar coagulating tip, supplemented by the placement of silastic blades for several weeks.
