About chondroitin sulphatea sulfated glycosaminoglycan (mucopolysaccharides, dietary supplement , anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory.mechanism of action of chondroitin sulphatechondroitin sulfate is part of a large protein molecule (proteoglycan) that gives cartilage elasticity. it stimulates cartilage cells to produce glucosaminoglycans and proteoglycans which are the building blocks of cartilage. this stops the progression of oa (osteoarthritis) and possibly reverses the process. it also has anti-inflammatory properties by its inhibition of proteolytic enzymes.
