Description:this medication contains a non-sedating antihistamine (acrivastine), and a nasal decongestant(pseudoephedrine)indication :prescribed to temporarily relieve seasonal allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, pruritus, lacrimation, nasal congestion. it is also used for itchy or watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.mechanism of action :acrivastine works by blocking histamine h1 receptors. it doesn t prevent the actual release of histamine from mast cells, but prevents it binding to its receptors. pseudoephedrine works by acting on alpha receptors that are found in the walls of blood vessels in the linings of the nasal passages and sinuses. it causes these blood vessels to contract and narrow, thereby decreasing blood flow into the linings of the nose and sinuses. this reduces the feeling of congestion and also reduces the production of mucusdosage :one capsule (8mg/60mg), every 4 to 6 /day
